Submission of applications

Applications by post will not be considered. Applications must be submitted online and the applicants must observe the deadlines for submission. Any attachments uploaded must be in the form of PDF files. For technical reasons connected with the system, document names may not include spaces, accents or special characters.

Applications may be submitted in the following languages:

• Culture: German or English
• Conflict and violence: German or English
• Contributions to education and school projects in Canton Berne: German or French

Acceptance and refusal

We will send a confirmation e-mail as soon as an application is received. We will notify applicants of our decision no later than one week after the meeting of the Foundation Board at which it is taken.  Any additional documentation submitted will not be returned.

Forms of cooperation

We believe that supporting a project is about more than just providing funds. It is also the start of a relationship. That’s why we’re interested in how projects progress and actively accompany selected projects. Objectives and evaluation criteria are defined for each project. Projects cannot start until the Foundation Board has reached its decision.
