Andrea Nagel Appointed Managing Director of the Stanley Thomas Johnson Foundation
It’s the beginning of a new chapter for the Stanley Thomas Johnson Foundation: Following the retirement of Guido Münzel, Andrea Nagel will assume the role of Managing Director on 1 April 2025.
The Foundation Board has appointed Andrea Nagel as Guido Münzel’s successor. She studied economics in Bern and obtained her Master’s degree in economics, business administration and law (Mag. rer. pol.) in 2000. Until 2010, she worked as a research associate in the field of health insurance for the Conference of Cantonal Health Directors and the Federal Office of Public Health. She then transitioned to the non-profit sector and served as the managing director of various organizations until 2024—most recently at Frieda, the Feminist Peace Organization (formerly cfd, Christlicher Friedensdienst). We are delighted that she will now be using her diverse professional experience for the benefit of the Stanley Thomas Johnson Foundation.
The Foundation Board and the team at the management office are very much looking forward to working with Andrea Nagel from April 1, 2025, to further develop the values and goals of the Stanley Thomas Johnson Foundation in the best interest of its beneficiaries.
We would like to thank Guido Münzel most sincerely for his many years of fruitful work for the Foundation and wish him much vigour and joy in his future endeavours.
Best wishes
Dr. Mirjam Eglin
President of the Foundation Board
